DevOps Engineer – Stockholm
Job Description
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our development team and play a key role in optimizing and maintaining our software delivery pipeline. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys collaborating with developers to ensure seamless deployment, testing, and continuous improvement of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
– Work closely with a development team to ensure that applications and deployment pipelines align with business and operational requirements.
– Develop, enhance, and maintain automation scripts and features to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows.
– Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot operational interruptions, and resolve network connectivity or infrastructure-related issues.
– Collaborate with other DevOps team members to enhance pipeline performance, security, and scalability in line with best practices.
– Continuously research and integrate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve the efficiency and reliability of software deployment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
– ✔ Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, including working knowledge of tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Kubernetes, Vault, Bitbucket, Git, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
– ✔ Experience in software development with Java, ensuring a strong understanding of coding principles, debugging, and application deployment.
– ✔ Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Groovy, or Golang for process automation and system integrations.
– ✔ Strong familiarity with Linux/Unix-based systems and the ability to manage infrastructure efficiently.
– ✔ Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker, Rancher, K3S, and Kubernetes.
– ✔ Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and troubleshooting capabilities in complex systems.
– ✔ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
– ✔ A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an agile development environment.
