About the Role
As a Work Package Lead – Sourcing Demand Planning, you will spearhead one of the key workstreams in a large-scale procurement transformation program. Your mission will be to optimize and future-proof sourcing demand planning by defining strategic roadmaps, designing target frameworks, and implementing digital tools that enhance procurement efficiency.
You will lead a team of business development experts and procurement specialists, working together to identify the best forecasting strategies and technologies for a data-driven and optimized sourcing approach.
Your Responsibilities
🔹 Sourcing Demand Planning & Process Optimization
✔ Design a future-proof framework for sourcing demand planning, ensuring alignment with transformation objectives
✔ Develop structured methodologies to improve forecast accuracy and stakeholder collaboration
✔ Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technology solutions to enhance demand forecasting, strategy optimization, and procurement efficiency
🔹 Project Leadership & Execution
✔ Lead a cross-functional team to define and implement the future state of sourcing demand planning
✔ Develop a phased transformation roadmap, including stakeholder engagement, capability development, and system implementation
✔ Drive requirement gathering and process alignment with best procurement practices
✔ Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and key milestones to ensure smooth execution
✔ Prepare and present strategic decision materials to senior management and steering committees
🔹 Business Integration & Adoption
✔ Ensure seamless integration of new processes into procurement operations
✔ Lead change management initiatives to drive stakeholder engagement and ensure adoption of new systems
✔ Implement cost tracking and efficiency measurement models to evaluate ROI and procurement impact
Your Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
✔ Senior experience in procurement, demand planning, or supply chain management
✔ A proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programs in an international setting
✔ The ability to translate visionary procurement strategies into actionable implementation plans
✔ Strong project management skills with a structured, results-oriented approach
✔ Experience working with digital procurement tools, forecasting systems, and automation technologies
✔ A relevant academic background in Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
✔ Fluency in English is required—Swedish, German, or Portuguese is a plus
Preferred Experience
➕ Expertise in sourcing (direct materials), demand planning, supply forecasting, and procurement analytics
➕ Experience in global procurement transformation programs with a strong focus on digitalization
➕ Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement automation platforms, and advanced demand planning tools
