Job Description

Vattenfall Consumer Sales is currently seeking a Senior Digital Analyst to play a pivotal role in web analytics and digital insights across the Nordic region. In this position, you will collaborate with various teams in sales, marketing, and customer experience (CX) to design customer journeys and establish relevant measurements and key performance indicators (KPIs). The role encompasses both operational and strategic aspects, and we are looking for a candidate with a strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and the technical and analytical abilities to translate data into actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication skills, enabling effective dialogue between technical and non-technical teams. You will work closely with data engineers, developers, and fellow analysts to support the organization’s goal of making data-driven decisions.

Vattenfall Consumer Sales Nordic is responsible for electricity contracts for households and small businesses in the Nordic region and is part of BA Customers & Solutions, which also includes E-Mobility and decentralized energy solutions like solar panels. Our organization operates in an agile environment and consists of several cross-functional business teams along with specialized support functions.

Key Responsibilities:
– Shape and optimize digital customer journeys in collaboration with various business teams.
– Design and create digital dashboards and KPIs to monitor the performance of our website and digital business.
– Implement a data-driven, quantitative approach to digital advertising.
– Ensure proper tagging and integration with analytics tools and reporting platforms.
– Analyze web traffic metrics and dive deep into website data to understand customer behavior.
– Research digital products, services, tools, and strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:
– Professional experience as a web analyst, preferably in a sales and marketing environment.
– Previous experience with Piwik PRO or similar web analytics tools.
– Proficiency in scripting with JavaScript.
– Relevant knowledge of SQL.
– Experience implementing server-side tracking is a plus.
– Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
– Comfortable working with large datasets.
– Experience in creating reports and visualizations in Power BI is an advantage.
– Strong communication skills with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
– Interest in energy markets and the electricity industry.
– Fluency in both written and spoken English, as well as Finnish or Swedish.
