My name is Liam Hjalmarsson, and I am 28 years old. I am a passionate and ambitious individual with a Bachelor’s degree in Media Technology from Malmö University. As a recent graduate with a strong interest in web development and a foundation in frontend and design, I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to your projects and help create engaging digital experiences.

I have had the opportunity to work as a frontend developer for a three-month period at Niftitech, where I worked on a larger project and two smaller ones. My primary focus was on updating and improving existing projects, using a tech stack that included Vue, Nuxt, Inertia, Laravel, and Tailwind. This role provided me with valuable experience in optimizing performance, ensuring usability, accessibility, and responsiveness. Through this work, I have developed a deep understanding of various tools and frameworks, as well as effective code structure.

I have a strong curiosity and a keen desire to grow in development and design. Over the past three years, I have deepened my knowledge in various areas of development. During my studies in media production and process design, I gained practical experience in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript, completing several projects where I built responsive and user-friendly websites. Frontend development has fascinated me from the beginning of my studies, and I am eager to continue developing my skills and learning in new environments. During my education, I also gained fundamental knowledge in project management and marketing, which has given me a broad understanding of leading web development projects.

Throughout and after my studies, I have consistently worked on personal projects to deepen my knowledge. I have actively explored various frameworks, such as React and Svelte, and development principles to strengthen my skills. I place great importance on writing clean and efficient code, following WCAG accessibility guidelines, ensuring usability, and optimizing website responsiveness. By applying these principles in my projects, I strive to create solutions that are both optimized and user-friendly. I also have a strong interest in design and I often work with tools such as Figma.

The experiences I gained during my internship at Sjöbergska have provided me with invaluable insights and skills. By working on real-world projects, such as developing a donation page and creating prototypes for entertainment applications, I have enhanced both my design and development skills. Taking responsibility for the development of these projects not only provided me with technical expertise but also experience in teamwork and client communication. By solving challenges and driving the projects forward, I strengthened my ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality results on time.
